Featuring choreography by New Art Club and original music by Makala Cheung, this short film was created with local schools, dance groups and members of the community to celebrate Bristol Harbour Festival.
The choreography draws on local landmarks – a Bansky balloon here, a bridge there, a smattering of dancehall hips, a pair of wrong trousers – and the routine can be learned here https://vimeo.com/97559017
The film, by Lisa May Thomas and Gary Thomas, showcases the model boats made by school children working with the ‘My Future, My Choice’ programme, ahead of their annual harbour boat race.
