Talent Development Programme
Produced for State of Emergency Ltd, Re:Position worked with young male dancers in Bristol over two years to make film and performance and t0 develop the group members’ skills.
Artistic lead, Tony Adigun and members of Avant Garde lead an 18 month residency that saw the group perform along side Avant Garde Dance in an adapted version of ‘Taxi’, create a short film ‘Taking It Back’ and achieve Gold Arts Awards. Re;Position members later developed solo and small group works under the mentorship of Jonzi D, and a new company work for Breakin Convention with Winston Pyke as lead choreographer.
Re:Position was supported by Arts Council England, PDSW, Bristol City Council and Creative Youth Network.
