Art for young audiences by DancingStrong

Touring work for young audiences
We’re thrilled to share that with support from Take Art’s ‘Hopper’ programme of Early Year’s work commission support, DancingStrong will be taking two works to theatres, festivals, schools and community spaces in Spring and Autumn 2018.
Featuring live music and participation, the works were both created with the guidance of children who worked with us as movement consultants. ‘Found’, a new participatory performance that grew from last year’s Ila Project with primary schools and museums, will tour alongside a re-worked version of 2015’s ‘Light Steps’, originally created with Turner Contemporary Gallery, Margate
The tour takes in the South, Midlands and the South West, visiting a mix of theatre and early years settings.
We hope to see you on the road!
- New dates added:
26 September – ‘Light Steps’ at Glasshouse Arts Centre
Saturday 6 October – ‘Found’ at Dancin’ Oxford Festival, Pegasus Theatre, 11am & 2pm
