A future facing day for dance artists
Produced for Swindon Dance and Bath Dance, ‘Dancing with the Crystal Ball’ was the second in a series of Breathing Space events to support and nurture regional dance artists.
Hosted by Arnolfini, the day sought to focus on the quality and authenticity of conversation and sharing around specific, artist led themes:·
- What is the future for dance performance in tomorrow’s world?
- How can we future proof dance & dancers in a fast changing world? ·
- What can we learn from other art forms?
Event sessions were led by visiting speakers, Siobhan Davies, Karla Shacklock and Laura Kriefman, class by Fiona Millward and facilitation and coaching from Sue Davies.
Exceeded my expectations. So much more was covered and I learned more about the collaboration between companies in order to produce a range of successful creative work.
I felt listened to, I enjoyed listening to others and I cam away feeling fed and re-inspired, with a don’t give up attitude!
